The yellow "!" is gone, but, somehow, I get the feeling that Big Red's gonna notice. I've done it before for the above problem, and thought it doesn't hurt to try again to see if it helps (I am undecided as to if it makes any difference). And at least your phone is usable with this. You could try using the Kies software to reload the firmware, or find a ROM that specifically wipes /data.
I totally forgot fastboot was both vol buttons...... Working... What I did was. 1. You might as well do that and see if the phone boots properly - if it gives you some other errors it may be time to reload the firmware.
