When any component is added onto a form they leave references to the component in both the forms source file (*.pas) and the inside the forms dfm. Not the answer you're looking for? How should I troubleshoot this problem? I have seen this problem in different websites and also here, but not of the solutions worked for me.

Typically this indicates that the Delphi was originally written on one pc where an Active-X component was available but is being recompiled on a PC where the component is not available.
