mikehhh06-25-2010, 06:47 AMby editing the "DeusEx.ini", you use HDTP textures with the "DeusEx.exe", so the annoying hdtp.exe becomes useless When I went to edit the .ini, the settings in step 6 I can't open the DeusEX_Mapspatch10 with 7zip, it tells me that this archive can't be opened. Screen goes black, with intermittent desktop flashes, but I am getting nominal sound as though it had started up. Was I supposed to overwrite everything in the Texture folder with the New Visions content, or just drop the New Visions folder into the Texture folder?

Don't forget, you can choose your renderer each time. I'm going to experiment one last time by uninstalling then reinstalling HDTP - its my guess that when HDTP is created it bases itself off of whatever deusex executable is already I hope it works for everybody this time. honestly i don't notice much difference though. 5)installed the enb (2.0 not 2.1), but don't replace the deusex.ini file!!! 6)launched game, choose new renderer and picked the d39 renderer.

Case in point; if i load the game from deusex.exe the HDTPPanim is missing, whereas when I load the game from HDTP it works. So much for saving Picklocks and LAM's.
If I hit shift-f12 in the main menu nothing happens and if I do it in-game, the only thing that happens is that the flashlight goes on. For example, go to the training and make a screenshot to compare with the final result. 2) In your System folder, rename "DeusEx.exe" into "DeusEx_old.exe". load the game from the deusex.exe, switch to opengl. Try cleaning your disk.
