I used to both clean and defrag on a regular basic...two computers ago (XP). As shown in the example, only 684MB of data was selected for deletion by default, but I was able to increase this to 3.31GB by selecting other types of unnecessary files. Both XP and Vista have them both.. Windows Error Reporting creates several types of temporary files that are used for error reporting and solution checking. The tool will allow you to select what you would like to empty selected files. Most of my data was backed up, but some significant stuff was not, which is going to be a headache to reproduce.
I figured it must be some kind of file problem - reporting the incorrect size or something and so i selected it for deletion.
