I have to switch off the PSU, unplug the power cord from the PSU and then wait a few minutes. The next step was to completely remove Windows 10 (I was certain at this point I was no longer interested in beta testing it!) which was trivial with the VHD setup Neither Disk Management nor diskpart (CMD) can see it, or 3rd party software. As for drivers, I routinely check for new ones each month, and they're all installed.I've also installed the most recent motherboard/chipset/SATA/video drivers from AMD's website. The only conclusion I have left is that 2TB drives take a while to spin-up (based on a Google search) and that may cause problems. I'm running Windows 8.1...
